Rockin' and occasionally rollin' - the San Andreas Fault created San Francisco's collection of famous hills - Lombard Street, Nob Hill, Twin Peaks, Telegraph Hill, Pacific Heights - and a large collection of lesser known perches (eg, Bernal, the Presidio, Lands End, Liberty Hill, Mount Davidson, Potrero Hill, and Grandview Park) offering countless z-dimensional opportunities in the city by the bay :)
Those seeking to avoid the hills (eg, "The Wiggle"), may find the SFBC route map useful and those seeking to hit them hard may be interested in the "Seven Hells" bike ride in July and/or the Easter-day "Bring your Own Big Wheel Race" :)
Otherwise, parking often gets easier farther/steeper up the hill and the views get better assuming Mister Fog isn't chilling.
